Semi precious beads and Vintaj bracelet

Make this pretty butterfly bracelet with semi precious beads.

This pretty bracelet will dangle from your wrist with style. The semi precious beads team perfectly with the antique feel of Vintaj brass, and butterflies give the bracelet a gentle motif.
Top tips: Don't waste links by cutting the chain, use pliers and each link is easy to bend open and replace again.

Butterfly Bracelet

1. Thread two medium and one large moukaite semi precious beads on to a Vintaj eyepin, placing the large bead in the centre. Make a loop on the other side of the eyepin to create a connecting piece.
2. Repeat step 1 until you have made 5 semi precious connectors, mixing the dark and light shades of the moukaite beads as you go.
3. Pick up your Vintaj chain. Using pliers separate 3 sections of 3 chain links, 1 section of 4 links and 1 section of 8 links.
4. Assemble the bracelet by joining 4 of your semi precious bead connectors with the 3 link chain sections. Next, add the 4 link chain section to one end and the 8 link chain section to the other, and join with the remaining semi precious connector.
5. Taking your headpins, make 10 drops, adding small, large and medium semi precious beads as you choose. You can also add bead caps and spacer beads in Vintaj brass to these drops.
6. To finish, add a hook clasp to a jump ring and attach to the 4 link section of chain. To fasten the bracelet, hook in to the 8 link piece of chain to suit your wrist size. This creates a loop which will also work as a safety chain.
