HOW TO MAKE
Necklace
  1. Place all beads on a bead mat and arrange. Cut a 50cm length of gold-plated chain into four equal lengths. Take two sections, place side by side and add a jump ring and clasp to one end and a jump ring to the other. Secure jump rings to both sides of the other section.
  2. Insert an eye pin through each of the gold discs and make loops at both sides using round-nosed pliers. Attach one to a chain section. Place a 1m length of cord into a foldover crimp and secure with flat-nosed pliers. Attach to the disc. Leave 1cm, make a knot, thread on a black kashmere bead and secure again.
  3. Leave 1.5cm and make a knot. Thread on two corrugated beads, followed by a small orange acrylic, large acrylic and another small, then add two more corrugated and knot again. Move along 1.5cm then pass on a corrugated bead, followed by two round kashmere beads in different shades. Add another corrugated bead.
  4. Leave a 1.5cm gap and thread on two corrugated beads, a black kashmere gem and two more corrugated; this forms the centre section of the necklace. Knot then mirror the sequence so the second side matches the first. After the last kashmere bead, make a knot then trim the cord and insert onto a fold-over crimp. Attach to a gold foil bead and secure to a chain section. Join up the necklace by linking up the clasp and jump ring already added.
