Cut 2m of gold beading wire in half, hold the two ends together and thread on a crimp. Leaving 2cm or 3cm, pass the wire back through the crimp to create a loop with some wire coming back through. Squeeze the crimp flat to secure. Thread two 6mm semi-precious goldstone rounds onto both strands of wire (or two other beads of a similar size as these will be covered with Tibetan cones later).
Separate the two strands and onto one of the lengths string a red marble tube bead, 6mm goldstone round, topaz soft touch oval, goldstone round, scarlet soft touch, topaz soft touch, goldstone round, scarlet soft touch, goldstone round and a topaz soft touch. Repeat on the other wire. 12mm glass leaf charms, £1.50 for 34, http://www.spoiltrottenbeads.co.uk
Slip five goldstone rounds onto one of the wire strands, then repeat for the other. Thread a large leaf pendant onto both wires, then mirror the previous beading sequence on each strand to make up the other side of the necklace. After the last two red marble tube beads, slip on two goldstone rounds onto both wires as before.
Add a crimp, make a loop and take the wire back through both of the 6mm goldstone beads. This is a little more tricky than at the beginning, so you may find it easier to use round-nosed pliers to hold the loop while you pull the wire through, then crimp the end.
Attach one of the crimped loops onto the end of an eye pin. Push the eye pin through a Tibetan cone, so that the two goldstone beads at the end of the necklace are positioned inside. Thread another two goldstone rounds onto the eye pin coming out of the cone, then begin to make a wrapped loop, slipping on half of a magnetic clasp before wrapping beneath the loop to secure. Repeat on the other side of the necklace.
