HOW TO MAKE
Blue Necklace
  1. Push a ball head pin through the hole of a polymer clay flower, then trim and loop the end, ready for attaching onto the middle of the necklace later on. Cut four 60cm strands of monofilament. Measure the centre point and tie the four sections together, leaving both ends the same length.
  2. Working on one half of the monofilament, string the following beads onto the first strand: one crystal round, one crystal doughnut, a shell disc, another doughnut and two more rounds. String the following sequence onto the second strand: two rounds, one doughnut, one shell disc, another doughnut and another round. Keep these two strands as a group. Repeat this pattern for the other pair of monofilaments, and keep them together as another group. Move the beads close to the knot, then with a hand holding one group, tie the two groups together.
  3. Repeat Step 2 once more. Separately string on the following beads onto the four strands: one round, one doughnut and one round. Tie the four lengths together. Pass all four strands through a doughnut, then string two rounds onto each of them and pass them all through another doughnut. Secure with a knot. Slip the flower onto the necklace, over the central knot, then repeat Steps 2 and 3 to form the other half of the necklace.
  4. Attach a calotte to one end. Cut 50cm each of blue suede cord and white linen cord, then pass them through the loop of the calotte, so that it sits halfway along both strands. String on a 10mm rhinestone rondelle to cover the loop, then trim the suede and linen cord to the required length. Secure with an end crimp, then attach half of a clasp with a jump ring. Repeat for the other side of the necklace.
Make it yours...

Instead of cord strands, make up two chains of beaded eye pins, and use metallic purple/ green shimmer iris 4mm rounds, lilac shell discs and a lilac flower.
